Baby Tayah

Wednesday, Tiffany had her baby. It was a girl and she is so precious!! She weighed some where around 7 lbs and looked SO tiny. She was adorable.

Harlee took her turn holding the little one and even jax had a turn. I didn't get a pic of that. It was cute though, cause he was trying to squeeze her like a teddy bear. He was, of coarse, facinated with her eyes and nose. He was cute with her.
Congrats Tiffany and Kyle!!

Memorial Day!

Memorial day we went to the cemetary to put flowers on Grandpa Hunsakers grave. The flowers were beautiful and Grandpa's headstone was so amazing!

Scandanavian Days

I got to go to Utah last weekend to spend time with my good friend Kelli. We have been friends since we were nannies about 9 years ago. It was so fun!! We went to Scandinavian days in Ephraim Utah, where she set up a booth to sell her little girl hair bows. They are super cute.

We also had some fun with some of her other products. I am sporting a tutu on my head.

The 2nd day of the festival there was a parade and one of the "floats" was the LDS missionaries. Talk about small town. :)

Field Trip...to the ZOO

On Monday I got to go on Harlee's 1st grade field trip to the Zoo in Idaho Falls. We started out with the "long" (according to the kids) bus ride there. This is Gracie and Mckenna. And Harlee was so happy to have me as her seat mate. :)
They have lots of things there for the kids to see and play on. This was right by the tigers. It is a big tiger. You can't really tell cause of all the kids on it. For those of you who grew up with Travis, the little girl in the very front is Chad Gregory's little girl, Lillie.

This is the Penguins. It is so refreshing to do things with kids cause they think EVERYTHING is SO exciting and amazing

The lions weren't very active this day. I don't know if that is good or bad. They were just being lazy sleeping in the sun. Their whole exhibit smelled liked dead animals. pew!!

They had this little barn and yard with goats in them that the kids could pet and brush. That was pretty exciting! Anything hands on usually is.

Giant turtle. There were 3 huge ones. HUGE! Wow!!

This is the "egg playland." Everything was centered around eggs. A chicken, a giant egg, and a nest.

Harlee Sue's new Do

Harlee started buggin me about getting her hair cut and I have tried to support my kids in their hair. Meaning that they can wear it the way that they want. She wanted it to be short short. So last week, this is what we did.

Oh Jax.......

This little head that you see is Jax. For those of you that follow my blog, you will have seen the various positions this little man gets himself into. Funny little man. This is Bodie's bed and Jax can pull himself onto it. He was having a circus the other day. He would climb up on the side of the bed and then crawl to the end and slide off the end of the bed. He kept doing this circle several times until this happened. He pulled himself up and then sat back on the pillow and it slid him off the end and go him stuck. You know me, gotta take a picture of the funny predicament.

Spring cleaning

Yesterday Travis cleaned out the garage. A much needed project. Jax was so curous. It was fun to watch him toddle around. He got a hold of this blower and could actually push it around. He would walk forward a few steps ......

And then pull real hard, and walk backwards a few steps. It was so cute!

Makin Cookies

Me and Bodie made cookies the other day. It was fun to have him help. I have a neighbor who had volunteered to watch my kids for an hour in the mornings so that I can go and exercise. With Travis gone, I don't have many opportunities to get a break, and I LOVE to exercise (you'd think I would be skinnier, but I also LOVE to eat, so I can maintain with the best of them :)). So Bodie and I decided to make cookies to give to the neighbor. It doesn't do justice to what she does for me and I hope that I will be able to do something more, but for this week, cookies seemed the answer. Bodie helped with each task and he had a blast.
Of coarse the licking of the spoon and bowl is always his favorite part.

Prom

The night of April 18th was Rachelle's Prom. And she asked me to do her hair. It was fun for me. I thought she looked great. I wish that I had a pic of her in her dress cause it was gorgeous! But, I don't, but I thought her hair turned out good.

Park Season

I know that I have been behind. But I have taken pictures, I just haven't posted them. So here we go. A few weeks ago, actually, I believe it was April 18th, I took the kids to the park for the day. We had a picnic and walked around the Jensen's Grove and then played on the toys. Chad came with us too and it was fun to talk to him. The kids had a lot of fun. Especially Jax. This was his debut to the outside world and he was hooked!! All the kids have there own agenda when we go to the park. Harlee, as you can see, loves to climb the big tree that is a small pit stop along the trail. Bodie has to be able to stop and take a few minutes to throw rocks in the water. This is a must and it is just not as fun to go to the park unless he can throw a few rocks.
Jax was new at this, but he found is "thing (s)." He has just started walking and loves the mobility and freedom to explore. He found a stick, tasted a leaf and played in the sand. He really liked the slide and went down it several times with Harlee. It was so fun!
