Humble Harlee

Below is a sign that I found taped to my dear Daughters bedroom door. Ya see, yesterday Harlee came running in the house completely destraught (putting it midly). Apparently she had been jumping on the trampoline with Bodie. Bodie decided to crawl under the tramp and play in the swimming pool, which was moved there while Travis mowed the lawn. As you can guess, Harlee kept jumping. She jumped on Bodie's face and gave him a bloody nose. Now you can see why she would come running in the house in her state of distraughtness. I, of coarse, was distraught (putting it VERY mildly) at hearing the news of what happened. I scolded Harlee and sent her to her room. After taking care of Bodie, I went and talked to Harlee about the dangers of jumping while people are under the tramp (something that we have discussed more then a few times). I told her that Bodie was now fine and she could continue to go play. She sulked out the door saying something to the effect of maybe she should just sit on the steps so that she wouldn't hurt anybody. It was later that I found this note taped to her door.......

Translation: Don't Come near me I will hurt you.

Poor Harlee and her sensitiveness.

Water Front Property

We flood irrigate our pasture out in front and we get water every 9 days...I think. Anyway, Travis and our neighbor, Ben, decided to doctor up the ditch that runs down our properties from the canal. Who knew that doctoring it up would make it this much more efficient. . . It totally flooded our road.

Birthdays

I know that this is a little belated, but I wanted to for sure post all about our birthdays. Travis had an okay Birthday. He got sick the day before and so we went to the doctor for his birhtday. We did presents that morning, went to breakfast, and the doctor and then he came home and rested. That night we had a little birthday party with his family. We went to Rupes and then did pie and ice cream. It was fun, but poor Travis was sick. He got some pretty cool presents though. to name a couple, he got some riding pants and Bodie got him a monster truck pulling a trailer of motorcycles. FUN!!
I am all about birthdays. For those of you who don't know me well, I count down to my birthday. I LOVE my birthday. Well this year I turned 30 and I wanted it to be special. All I asked for was a birthday party. Travis isn't too into stuff like that and I knew he didn't want to plan one. Well not only did he plan one, he SURPRISED me with one. He is the best husband in the world!! I went shopping all day with Marlo and then she took me to Melina's that night and a bunch of friends were there to help me celebrate my 30th birhtday. It was awesome. Because it was a surprise, I didn't have my camera with me so I didn't get any pics. All I have is pics of my balloons that Lacey decorated with and some flowers that she put together for me. It was a FUN day!!

Family Pictures

I know that I am way behind. I don't have our Birthday pics on here or Fathers Day, Augh! I have been busy and haven't made the time to catch up yet. I will post this for now and then I may come back and post some BDay pictures. We got family pics done this last monday and it was.....well, it's over. It's never horrible, but it's never wonderful either. The kids are cute though. I thought they turned out well.

Clean up Crew

Travis has been riding the past couple of weekends and because it is the beginning of the season, the trails are a little muddy. The first time he took his bike to the car wash and washed it off, well it was just a few days later that he rode again and got it muddy all over again. This time he decided to save a few quarters and clean it at home. Well, as you can see it started a trend......

Starting Cereal...

Jax is now 4 months old and so I decided to see how he liked cereal. I've always tested my kids at four months, but they usually don't catch on until they are about 51/2 months old. It's fun to see they're reaction.
