Utah Trip!!!

Friday and Saturday, I took the opportunity to go to Utah. Thanks to Grandparents, I was able to go with a friend and no children. Thank you Mom and Dad and Michael and Roxie. I REALLY appreciated that you all were able to help me. It was a great break from reality! You all do so much to help me while Travis has been gone!!
First of all we got to stay with Rumel and Heidi. She made us a great dinner and then we played games. It was a lot of fun! I am very grateful to them for letting us stay with them and for them being such wonderful hosts.
Well the main purpose of my visit was to see my family and dear friend Kelli, who just had her 2nd child. Kelli and I met while we were nannies, about 9 years ago (wow, Kel, can you believe it's been that long?). Her babies name is Adelyn Grace and so sweet with soo much hair!! I love little tiny babies that just lay there and sleep and are soo adorable.

This is Olivia, she is Kelli's first born. She is 16 months old. Yep, she had her kids pretty close.

I went down with a friend and yet never managed to get pictures with her. Crazy! I got to see my big bro Brandon and his family. We visited for about an hour and that was great!!I also stopped on the way out of town last night, and saw my brother, Clark, and his wife Kristy. She is expecting their first baby and has 6 weeks left. They are having a boy and naming him Kreed. It was fun to see them and I get to see them again, next weekend when they come and stay with me. Yea!!

Just for fun.....

I bought a halloween wig on sale and thought that I would have Bodie try it on. . .Isn't "she" soo cute...heeeheee

Brothers.....I love my two little guys...they are so fun!

Bodie, Bodie, Bodie......

So, I took these pictures of Bodie because, at first, I thought it was funny.

He was eating dinner and was the last one at the table. Harlee and I were in my bedroom talking. Bodie didn't want to be left behind and so he crammed the rest of his taco in his mouth and came in the bedroom with us. I told him that what he did was gross and that he needed to go in the kitchen until he was done chewing and swallowing. I took the pics and then it all went south. He decided that if he drank while he chewed it would help.......not so. He kept leaking food out every time he took a drink. So, I took his drink away and told him to hurry up and chew and swallow. Of coarse, this made him cry. Which made him open his mouth and then....no he didn't throw up, he just decided he would spit his food out all over the counter. GROSS!!! I was livid!! Grrrr!!!

Ya....that's a diaper. . . Don't worry, it was a clean one...good grief, I'm not THAT mean! :)

Halloween Preview

I know those of you out there that have kids experience this same thing.....Every year that we get the halloween costumes out, the kids have to try every one of them on. Even if it is 2 years too small. So this is what we do......every year. It is somewhat of an annoyance, only because it makes a mess. I do enjoy it though. I love for my kids to have fun and I love to do things with them that I know that they love and finding the perfect halloween costume is one of those fun things. So here is a little preview of this years halloween costume picks........

Catchin up.....

Okay...where to start. Well, as most of you know, Travis started a new job. He is working in Wyoming with an oil company. It is an excellent paying job with real great benefits. The only draw back being that it is in Wyoming. He is going to be commuting back and forth. Right now he is doing training and will be for a month. After that his schedule will be that he works 14 days and has 7 days off. So, it kind of isn't wonderful, but hopefully it will be somewhat temporary. He is hoping to do this for about a year or so and then find something local.
As for the kids, they went gleaning for FHE with their grandparents and found lots of potatoes for Mom (Thanks Kids). Travis loves his fresh picked potatoes and looks for the real big ones so that I will make him homemade fries. I say Travis, cause I can't really tell the difference between fresh picked and store bought. Sorry to all you Idahoans that are touchy about potatoes. To me a potatoe is a potatoe...although red are my favorite. Anyway Bodie found the perfect potatoes for Dad and his fries and so we had to document his find.
