New hair 4 Harlee

Here She is. She wanted her Hair cut short and I thought with Summer coming, why not. I think it turned out REALLY cute! Travis hasn't seen it yet and didn't know that we did it. (Tee-hee) I don't THINK that he will care. The lady that did it was amazing. I don't know how to use a round brush and she said that she was never good with one either. She styled her hair with a blowdryer and a straightener. It was perfect cause that is all I use. She really likes it too. I am excited for her, new is fun!

Easter Clothes

I know a lot of you did your Easter Clothes before Easter, but I waited till after. The kids got their clothes with their baskets, so here they are. Jax's face makes me laugh!

Your Typical Dropped Dog, Got Stuck Story....

I so wish that I would have had a camera for this one....it was too funny! But it was 4:50 a.m., so you can understand why I didn't. This morning Bodie came running upstairs and woke me up. He said that Jax was stuck and crying. The baby monitor was turned down all the way, and that is why I didn't hear. Not a mistake I will make again. I ran downstairs to find Jax wedged in between the wall and his bed. Due to the whole climbing out of his pack n play, we moved him to the bottom bunk in Bodie's room. I didn't know if he had rolled out of bed and got wedged there or what had happened. I pulled him out to comfort him, but he didn't want me. All he could say was "dog...dog fall down dere." and kept pointing at the crack. So I looked down the side of the bed and saw that his favorite dog (Wub) was indeed down there. I reached down to get the dog and tucked him in. He immediately calmed down and snuggled back to sleep with his "Wub." He obviously had dropped it and gone down after it, not knowing the tight space that it was caught in. Again, you that have followed this blog, know that I love to take pics of Jax's predicaments....oh how I wish I would have caught this one on camera.

Jax's New "trick"

I started hearing strange noises at the end of Jax's nap yesterday. I went to investigate and this is what he showed me.

Saturday was my Dad's birthday. My Bro and his family came up from Utah and all of us locals gathered at my house for a shin dig. I can't Believe he is 58.

Twin Falls

Last Weekend we went to Twin Falls for a quick trip to see a friend of Travis'. We spent Saturday touring Twin. We spent most of the time at these falls. I don't know what they're called but the kids had a blast. Our friends have 3 kids also and so they all had a blast playing around. The spent a good half hour just rolling down the hill. Fun times!

Baptized

Harlee was baptized February 27th. We are so happy that she made this choice. She was a little nervous and was almost in tears before we left. I was in the bathroom doing her hair and this is what took place:

Me: "Do you feel OK?"

Harlee: "I'm scared (sniff..sniff)"

Me: "you're scared? Harlee you don't have anything to be scared about. Guess who needs to be nervous? "

Harlee:"who?"

Me:"Daddy, he is the one who has to make sure he holds you right and says the prayer right. He needs to make sure that he doesn't drop you. All you have to do is stand there, there is nothin to be worried about."

Harlee:.....long pause......."I sure wish we could wait another week."

Me:"why?"

Harlee:"So Dad could have time to think about all this."

It was pretty cute and funny. Everything went fine, and Harlee had a great day. Thanks to all those who came!
